Dr Jacinta Oldehaver

Dr Jacinta Oldehaver is the Associate Head of School: Pacific in the Faculty of Education and Social Practice at Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland. She is of Tongan/Samoan/German descent who has over 15 years’ experience as a classroom teacher in the primary sector where she held middle leadership roles in charge of a large syndicate of teachers, and leading literacy, health and physical education. Jacinta has worked on multiple research projects at the Woolf Fisher Research Centre which include research on NZCER Tertiary Education Strategy Frameworks; Manaiakalani Innovation and Evaluation and Outreach; Curriculum support materials research programme; SEPTA Digital learning project.
