Planning and curriculum development can be done in many ways. Using inquiry to focus curriculum is one way of engaging with children to inquire, to explore, and to learn. By starting with a question, inquiry-based learning guides and informs teachers to support children’s interests and exploration.
Kim and the team at Kids’ Domain discuss how they use an inquiry-based model to learn and explore with and alongside their children. They discuss how, through their current inquiry on mapping, they have being able to use a range of curriculum areas to support children to explore and inquire about their interests in their local environment.
