The role of documentation at Kids’ Domain

November 24, 2023

Documenting children’s learning is a key part of the everyday life of all early childhood teachers. Engaging in robust, team-focused discussion provides a strong platform from which to document children’s learning and exploration.

Ripeka and the team at Kids’ Domain discuss how they engage in playful, fun, and real documentation, following the inquiry model of curriculum development. They also discuss how they engage in robust conversations about children’s learning to both inform curriculum and to reflect on where they have come from. They provide an example of their current inquiry cycle to explain how this process works for them.
