Many students struggle with their mental health and wellbeing, and some may experience major mental health challenges during their years at school. This webinar will explore some important things for teachers to know about student mental health and wellbeing, including how mental health challenges present, some common issues that impact wellbeing, and how teachers can support students in a way that is appropriate to their role, including how to talk with students and their families. The webinar will also provide some insight into the mental health sector in Aotearoa New Zealand.
