This webinar provides an introduction to the science of learning, exploring what is meant by the term, the research base it draws on, and its implications for curriculum and pedagogy in school.
The webinar also explores what the science of learning research suggests about the efficacy and impact of different pedagogical practices and how and when they should be employed in teaching. Topics covered include the factors that influence learning, the cognitive processes involved in learning both content and skills, and how learning changes and progresses as we build our knowledge and understanding of a topic.
