Emma Quigan from Talking Matters talks about what they have learned from their research with mothers and their children about babies’ exposure to language. Through trials with Learning Environment (LENA) vests, which record all the language a baby is exposed to in the course of a day and provides data on it, Talking Matters is helping parents learn how to increase the quality and quantity of language they share with their children.
