Communication is at the heart of every child’s learning, yet one in fourteen children experiences delays. In Aotearoa, access to support services can take time — but there are powerful tools that make a difference. Sign language is a fun, empowering way for children to express their thoughts, emotions, and needs. It builds confidence, supports cognitive development, and fosters connection and inclusion.

Join Greta Gotlieb from Chatter Hands in this workshop and come away with:

  • Practical knowledge of a few key signs you can use immediately with children
  • A deeper understanding of resources and apps to support teaching sign language
  • Inspiration to help children communicate with confidence and feel included

This session is perfect for teachers passionate about supporting communication and creating more inclusive communities through sign language (NZSL). Give your learners the gift of expression!
